An Unanswered Question
One day many years ago, I walked around Boston’s Logan airport carrying a suitcase and dressed as an ordinary traveler except for the large pair of wings on my back. A hundred-or-so yards ahead of me was a companion wearing a bowler hat and Groucho glasses, and blowing bubbles. Just as people would be getting used to him, I would saunter by provoking new perplexity. An elderly man finally approached us saying: “I don’t know what would be crazier, to ask why you are doing this or not to ask you why?” Unfortunately, neither of us had an answer.-
